2025 WSA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN ÖSTERSUND SWEDEN (PROVISIONAL)

01 Vaccination Rules 2025

The WSA ÖSTERSUND 2025 and Swedish Board of agriculture demands a complete (core-) vaccination against:

Parvovirus
Leptospira
Distemper, Hepatitis contagiosa canis (CAV1)
Vaccination against kennel cough
Rabies

All dogs coming from other countries then Sweden and Norway must have a valid Rabies vaccination. All dogs, regardless their land of origin, must be vaccinated against puppy disease, Parvo and infectious liver disease. Dogs vaccinated for first time should not have a vaccination which is older than 1 year (365 days).
Revaccinated dogs (with other documented vaccinations on their vaccination booklet) should not have vaccinations which are older than 4 years on the day of racing. Vaccination should be done at least 14 days before the start of the race and Rabies at least 21 days before start. It is also recommended that participating dogs are vaccinated against para influensa (kennel cough).

Documents

All participants must bring the following ORIGINAL documents with them to Östersund and pre Vet check (no copies):

KC / FCI papers for all dogs that will start in the race
Vaccination passports foralldogs (including those that do not start in the race)
Proof of insurance foralldogs (including those that do not start in the race)

Without these documents, you will not be able to enter the stake out and you will not be able to race!

ANTIDOPING
Doping control may be performed on dogs and human
athletes during the event: In accordance with the WSA
and Swedish laws WADA rules for human.

DOG IDENTIFICATION
All dogs must be micro-chipped for anti-doping identification
purposes. All dogs must be listed on the chip-list
(one form per competitor and per class).
